Vented Enclosure: The Audio Control Spike Series SPK-V10 Vented Enclosure is constructed of high-density wood fiberboard with internal bracing, providing maximum durability and resonance control. A dual-front mounting baffle provides additional strength and rigidity to the enclosure, while keeping the driver firmly in place. The vented subwoofer enclosure is filled with poly-fiber for controlled sound and tight, accurate bass response. The outside of the SPK-V10 is coated in Roadkill Armor and wrapped in marine-grade vinyl for a sleek finish.

SPK-10S2 Subwoofer: The Audio Control SPK-V10 Vented Enclosure is loaded with a single 10" SPK-10S2 subwoofer. The high-excursion driver features a fiber matrix paper cone, with mica coating, and a dual dust cap system for enclosure compression control. The heavy-duty motor system features a 2.5" diameter voice coil with a 3-layer, high-temperature former for maximum efficiency. The SPK-10S2 subwoofer is protected by a removable metal-mesh grille.

Power Handling: Audio Control's power range for the 2-ohm subwoofer is 300-500W RMS (500W recommended); 700W peak power.

Connections: The SPK-V10 features two connection methods:

• Spring Posts: A pair of spring posts can accept speaker wire up to 8-gauge in size.
• Quick-Plug Harness: A removable 6" 2-pin harness, with bare-ended 12-gauge wires, provides a quick-connection method that can easily be plugged and unplugged from the enclosure.

Mounting: Two mounting brackets, left and right, are provided. Threaded holes on either side of the enclosure let you attach each bracket using the provided machine screws. Additional self-tapping screws can be used for attaching the brackets to a trunk or floor pan.
