Tweeters: The tweeters are PEI (Poly-Ether-Imide) balanced-domes; PEI is a polymer film that produces a wide soundstage for superior imaging. A semi-dome tweeter has a dome placed inside a cone. Balanced dome tweeters are semi-dome tweeters with equal reproduction area given the cone and dome portions of the tweeter.

Tweeter Mounting Options: The tweeters can be surface mounted without adding anything to their fixed housings. Brackets are also included to allow flush mounting or angled surface mounting (approximately 30°).

Crossovers: The 2-way crossovers have input and output wires attached. Neither has any wire terminals attached, so crimp-on terminals can be added (item number 120FQS10PK, sold separately) to provide terminals for the woofer. The crossover dimensions are:

Woofer Mounting: The woofer baskets have multiple mounting holes and are designed to fit standard 3-hole 6½ applications, Ford's 4-hole 6½ applications, and symmetrical 4-hole 6½ applications. The outer ears also mount in a standard 4-hole 6¾ application, but the inner holes are left open to "leak" air as the cone moves. (When mounting in a 6¾ application, a speaker baffle should be used to seal the inner ring of screw holes.)
