ACX-300.2

Overview: The AudioControl ACX-300.2 all-weather amplifier is a compact 2-channel amp designed for your boat, ATV, UTV, motorcycle, and more. The all-weather amp can provide 75 watts RMS x 2 @ 4-ohms, 150 watts RMS x 2 @ 2-ohms, and 300 watts RMS x 1 bridged @ 4-ohms. The ACX-300.2 can accept RCA line-level or speaker-level input signals, making it ideal for OEM and aftermarket headunits.

High-/Low-Level Inputs: The ACX-300.2 includes a pair of 12" RCA inputs that can accept either high- or low-level input signals. If running high-level signals, RCA to speaker-wire adapters must be used and are sold separately, or the RCA connectors must be cut off and the bare-ended wire used. A 2-way Input Level switch lets you select High or Low.

Crossover: The ACX-300.2 includes a 12 dB/octave Linkwitz-Riley high-pass filter; a 3-position switch lets you select the crossover point from 80Hz, 120Hz, or Bypass.

Gain Maximized LED: The ACX-300.2 features a Gain dial for setting the overall input level. As you turn up the Gain with your headunit set at about 75% volume, a Maximized LED indicator will light to let you know when the signal is approaching the clipping point, helping to avoid running a distorted signal to your speakers.

GTO (Great Turn On) Signal Sense: If you are connecting the amplifier to a factory stereo, or an aftermarket unit without preamp outputs and a remote turn-on lead, the GTO Signal Sense circuitry can turn on the amplifier when an audio signal is detected on either the line-level or speaker-level inputs. After a period of time with no signal input, the amp will turn itself off.

All-Weather Construction: The ACX-300.2 amp has been constructed to withstand outdoor environments and carries an IPX6 waterproof rating, making it impervious to weather. A removable cover-plate on top of the amp protects the controls and LED indicators from dust and moisture ingress. The cover-plate screws require a 2.5mm hex bit for removal (not included). All wire harnesses on the amp are built-in for added weather resistance:

• Audio Inputs: Four RCA jacks on 12" input cables are provided, each with protective plastic caps.
• Speaker Outputs: Two 12" 4-wire output harnesses are terminated in waterproof connectors. Matching 7" harnesses with bare-ended 18-gauge wires are included.
• Power/Ground/Remote: A 12" section of 10-gauge power and ground wire terminates in a waterproof connector, with matching 7" harness and bare-ended wire. An additional empty power/ground connector is provided, letting you build your own harness to match the amp's power/ground connector. A bare-ended 12", 18-gauge remote turn-on wire is provided in the power/ground harness.

Note: The AudioControl ACX-300.2 does not include an amplifier wiring kit. An 8-gauge wiring kit with an in-line 30A fuse is recommended (sold separately).

Mounting: The AudioControl ACX-300.2 features a compact chassis that's designed to be mounted in tight spaces. Built-in mounting flanges with pre-drilled holes on each end of the amp are provided for mounting the amplifier. Four 3/4" screws are provided for mounting.
