Marine Tower Speakers: The Kicker KMTCXL8 (51KMTCXL8) wake tower speakers feature Kicker's award winning high-output, compression horn design that can provide loud, smooth sound for your watercraft. These 4-ohm, 2-way speakers include an 8" polypropylene and carbon fiber woofer with a treated cloth surround, and a 1.25" aluminum dome, horn-loaded compression driver. This provides an incredibly smooth sound up close or at a distance, without the typical harsh horn "glare". Both drivers are housed in a UV-resistant polymer enclosure that meets or exceeds ASTM standards for UV and salt/fog exposure. These include a 200 hour salt/fog test and a 400 hour accelerated UV test.

Power: The 4-ohm KMTCXL8 speakers can handle 15-250 watts of RMS power (500 watts peak).

RGB Lighting: The included speaker grilles have a built-in 7 color LED lighting system on the back of them that will light up the speaker cone when activated. Each speaker includes a 5.5" pigtail of five pre-attached wires, four of which are for the LEDs. The Black wire gets connected to a +12 volt source while the Red, Green, and Blue wires are used to activate that color when a ground is applied, giving you a total of 7 color choices. The optional Kicker KMLC Lighting Remote Control (sold separately) can provide up to 20 colors and 19 lighting modes.

Mounting: The KMTCXL8 includes all the hardware necessary for mounting the speakers to your wake tower. Each speaker uses a stainless steel clamp that designed to fit most tubing, ranging from 1.5" to 3.25" in diameter. The clamps feature a tool-free locking cam/toggle system that allow the speakers to quickly and easily be swiveled up to 359°.
