Overview: The Kicker KXMARLC Marine Zone Volume Controller (48KXMARLC) lets you independently control the volume in up to 4 zones on your boat or RV. The 4-zone volume controller is comprised of a mountable volume controller and a hide-away processor that takes a stereo RCA signal from your headunit or media center and distributes it out to four RCA zone outputs, each controlled by its own volume dial.

Volume Controller: The Kicker KXMARLC volume controller is a dash- or console-mountable module with independent volume controls for each of the four zones. Each volume control has a range from 0 to 11. A sheet of 25 pre-printed adhesive labels is included for naming each Zone on the front panel; examples include Console, Zone, Transom, Cabin, Tower, and more. Four RJ-11 ports on the rear panel provide the independent connections for each Zone using the four included 19.5' connection cables.

Hide-Away Processor: The KXMARLC hide-away processor features a pair of stereo RCA inputs and 4 pairs of RCA outputs - one pair per Zone. The inputs can accept signals from 125mV up to 4V, while built-in signal boosting provides a strong pre-amp signal to each of the outputs, up to 8V. Each Zone output also includes an RJ-11 socket for its corresponding connection cable to the controller. A removable 4-pin Euroblock (Phoenix) connector provides the connection points for powering the KXMARLC, with terminals accepting wire up to 14 AWG. Connections include +12V Constant Power, Remote In, Remote Out, and Ground.

Mounting:

• Volume Controller: The half-DIN size volume controller includes angle-brackets that allow the unit to be mounted horizontally in a dash, or console opening. The brackets can also be oriented to allow the controller to sit on top of or hang below a console, dash, or shelf.
• Hide-Away Processor: The hide-away processor features built-in mounting tabs that allow the unit to be attached to a vertical or horizontal surface. Mounting hardware is included for both units.
